Another Day, Another Dollar, Another oh whatever

My husband, father and nephews have gone to the Brewers/Cardinals game today, I hope they have a good time. However that said I absolutely hate it when my husband can't figure out things on his own. He woke me up this morning to help him figure out what to wear. Really, clothes would be my first guess doofus! Well then after he left I had to get up at 10 ish to take Rich to work for noon, and that meant I needed to be ready for work as well since I wasn't going to take him to work, go home and then turn around and come back up there to meet Kirsten to go to work myself. Well we had lunch before work and then took a leisurely drive to Crapids. Sadly we still got there 25 minutes early.

I just have to get through the next 3 days for my 1 day off again and then work 3 more to be off for 5 to go to St. Louis. I really hope I can get either an earlier shift and/or a different position, I really dislike working 6 days a week.

Should I leave a booger...

On my keyboard at work so that nobody would want to sit there when I'm not in? The idea has merit, but I don't want to be the booger girl at work. It would be rather gross, but really it took almost 15 minutes to get relogged in to everything and resync my headset. If I were in charge I would really redo all these desks around here. And several other things, but that is besides the point.

So yes, I'm back to work after my 1 day off. I really hate having only 1 day off a week, it seriously sucks. So when I walked in my little area of the office was in the dark and I was hoping it would be better for my eyes, but lo and behold I'm wearing my glasses already. If this keeps up I'm gonna have to find a new job, even though I have been looking, I really am not sure that this place is for me. I mean I can do customer service over the phone sleeping but still I don't get paid near enough to deal with customers who just want to complain and swear at me. I've considered starting my own house cleaning business but I really don't know if that would work either.

My nephews spent the night last night and Sunday night. I love spending time with them but I hate having to be the adult sometimes. It would just be so much easier if I could be a kid again! No mortgage, no bills, no worries. Aaaahhhh the life of a child!

Payday and I'm broke!

Isn't it always that way? You work so hard to get about $10 at the end of the day. I just got paid and seriously it sucks that I have no money. I was able to put some gas in my vehicle and get something for lunch but really...I just wish I could win like $25,000 in the lottery, I'm not greedy.

Well the one thing I can look forward to is having Monday off, but then I get to do laundry etc. Jake's birthday is coming up and I was able to pick up his card today, and really the selection for husband cards is just too mushy, I had to get a generic one and it will do but I think the card companies need to start making better cards. I was lucky enough to find him two Pez dispensers, yes I know you are probably thinking Pez, but these have the Chicago Cubs on them...we be po' this year and this is what he gets. Maybe when its my birthday I'll get more than just a case of water and two bags of Werthers Orignals.

Money is the root of all evil...

So here I was anticipating a decent check tomorrow and lo and behold I am less than half of what I expected...why? Oh yes, I had taken a week off to see my sister and I assumed that it would be reflected on the paycheck at the end of the month. Not so. Thank God I got the unemployment check coming in. Or we would be SOL. And I'm sure that our dearest friend and renter could give a shit about our problems.

Don't even get me started on his waste of plasma life. Apparently he's mad at me, and I could truly care less, if it's so tough in our house then by all means move out. I'm sure he needs us more than we need him. But enough of that.

Now, So I'm back from Arkansas as red as a cooked lobster, just last night my water blisters popped, how gross but since its me I was of course fascinated. My left leg is still pretty tight and a bit sore but certainly able to handle it now. I was actually even able to take a warm shower today instead ice cold ones.

My darling nephews spent the night at my house last night and Darrel was being a butt about not falling asleep finally at 1 this morning he zonked out. Sam was out awhile before that.

I'm in the process of reading the Harry Potter books again, I'm currently on number 3 and going through them pretty fast. I'm also currently reading LKH Merry Gentry series and also her Anita Blake series. Awesome books!

The crappy mood I'm in...

Yes, I'm in a crappy mood today and eating a whole bag of butter flavored corn puffs is likely. Weighed myself today and the number is going up not down...252...ugh, I'm just a big Fat Fatty McFatterson.

My husband, seems to NOT understand the concept of conversation. When I'm telling him how I'm feeling/perceiving a situation he immediately brings up any past mistakes I've made. I never do that to him and not only is it pissing me off it is actually making me feel bad and hurting my feelings, which in turn pisses me off more. I really feel that when I'm gone he's much happier, that way then he doesn't have to blatantly ignore me and won't have to try so hard.

I must be PMSing...

I'm just venting.

Another Rainy Day

It's been raining for like three days. I like the rain but I need some sunshine. I hope against hope that my Sister has sunshine when I am down there. However we usually experience rain as well. So I've learned that when we take the canoe trip down the river featured in the movie Deliverance that I will be in the same canoe as my Brother-in-Law and my darling niece Landry. Can't wait for the fun!

My toes are cold again today. I've always been a warm person and didn't like the heat. Now I'm freezing all the friggin' time. Honestly it was like 80 degrees on my day off a few weeks ago and I was comfortable, I even went into the house to turn off the Air Conditioning. I would never have done that before.

Well since I feel I need something kitschy on my blog I'm going to start with the book reports and trivia questions. If anyone is reading this feel free to comment with your answers.

Book Report: Currently reading A Caress of Twilight by Laurel l K. Hamilton. This is book 2 in the Merry Gentry series about fairies. So far i'm hooked but have the feeling the soft core porn scenes will soon be making an appearance. Will keep you posted on it. I will also be starting Obsidian Butterfly also by LKH. This is book 9 of the Anita Blake series. Can't wait to get to the new books that I haven't read in the series, but patience is a virtue.
